Video: Let’s All Say No To Chipped Nail Polish Together

I’ve been videoing lately and enjoying it – but whenever I played back the footage I would notice my nails were always a hot mess. So, I decided to take the 10 minutes out of my day to manage my nails. Why is that so hard to do? It’s 10 freaking minutes – don’t we deserve those moments?

Before children I would get my nails done weekly. Now, I make it to the manicurist about twice a YEAR (NO JOKE).

Join me in 2011 and say no to chipped nail polish! It’s time to put ourselves back on the list.

Great idea ! Unfortunately I have the type of nails that seriously chip within hours of putting on polish. If I want to wear nail polish to work I have begun to use only light colours – cant tell when it chips and it can at least last for 2 days. Also I find it takes SOOOOOOOO long for a nice colour ( not a light one ) to dry that I always end up with scratches in it and it looks horrible – 10 mins is about all it would ike nice for lol I miss my acrylics 🙁 that polish stayed on for weeks !

I hear ya. I feel so much better when my nails are done and look good, but I’m constantly doing dishes or using my nails as a tool, that I’m always chipping them and the polish comes off really fast. I need to start putting on some really heavy duty top coat. lol

I’m 23 years old and I’ve never had my nails done professionally. It costs a fortune here to do it and barely anybody does. We just have to do it ourselves. 🙂
