When I was living in Brooklyn, I was in Century 21 every single weekend, perusing the racks for good bargains. They carry tons of American and European brands. One of my many great finds was a Tulle funky teal fall jacket with huge buttons. I loved this jacket because of the interesting details and the weird color and wore it almost every single day. Tulle’s Summer Collection promises more of this. From cute dresses with interesting detailing to rompers with forgiving sleeves, Tulle promises such a wide variety that almost anyone can find something they love. Here are a few of my favorite pieces from their Summer Collection and a peek at what I love from their soon-to-be released Fall Collection.
Every woman needs easy clothes in their closet. You need that dress that you can just throw on when you don’t feel like getting dressed, and it looks cute. Tulle offers this in a cute gray number. With a high waist and a forgiving flared skirt, the side buttons add an interesting twist to a pretty dress. The ruffle detailing lends a young vibe to a mature color and the collar keeps it smart and womanly. Tulle’s LBD (Little Black Dress) does its job with classy capped sleeves and a gathered skirt that is perfect for highlighting great legs while masking a troublesome tummy area. From their Fall Collection, I loved their twist on the classic bomber jacket: a mix of bomber and cape. With comfortable armholes, this is perfect for days with a hint of a chill. If you’re looking for a smarter, work-appropriate look, check out their chic long sleeved gray blazer with off-center buttons and a smart patch pocket.
