One of my favorite things about being a member of the New York Beach Club (besides the sunsets and sand, of course) is the food. Seriously—this is not your typical beach fare. The NYBC restaurant goes all in with elevated dishes that make dinner feel like an experience, not just a meal.

This summer, I made it a mission to taste my way through the menu, and I’ve finally narrowed it down. Here are the top 5 things I ate—aka, the dishes I’d 100% order again (and probably will next weekend).
1. 14-Inch Pizza
Thin, crisp crust. Gooey cheese. Just the right char on the edges. The 14-inch pizza is a crowd-pleaser every single time. Whether you’re feeding the family or just need a comforting bite after a long beach day, this is the go-to. There are also a ton of toppings to choose from – so be sure to customize!
Bonus: it’s even better paired with a glass of rosé.

2. Seafood Tower for 4
This one’s a showstopper. If you’re looking to make dinner feel special, the seafood tower delivers—literally and figuratively. Piled high with fresh oysters, clams, shrimp, lobster, and more, it’s perfect for sharing and definitely Instagram-worthy. It’s everything you want a summer seafood feast to be.
3. Lobster Roll
You can’t be at the beach and not have a lobster roll, right? NYBC’s version is buttery, generous, and served on the perfect grilled bun. I’m picky about lobster rolls, and this one passes the test with flying colors. It’s light enough for lunch, but satisfying enough to count as dinner.
My husband has gotten this a half dozen times.
4. Jack Daniel’s Braised Short Ribs
Rich, tender, and slow-cooked to perfection. This dish feels like a cozy hug in food form. The flavor from the Jack Daniels braise gives it a deep, smoky-sweet kick that I’m still thinking about. Ideal for a cool evening when you want something hearty and indulgent.

5. The Standard Burger
Sometimes, you just need a great burger—and NYBC absolutely nails it. Juicy, flavorful, and stacked with classic toppings, it’s a no-fail option for adults and kids. Add a side of fries and a beachy cocktail, and you’re set.
If you’re heading to the club and haven’t had the chance to dine in yet, make a reservation and treat yourself. Whether you’re coming off the sand or dressing up for dinner by the water, the menu truly offers something for everyone.
Pro tip: Go with friends and order a little bit of everything—you won’t regret it.
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these or have your own favorite NYBC dishes. I’m always ready to taste test something new.
