Today’s Obsession: Homemade Bread Recipes

As you know, friends in town have gotten together over the last few weeks and cooked meals for my family to help alleviate some of my husband’s stress levels. It’s been amazing – the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me. Something I will never forget.

Well, a few days ago… someone came home with fresh bread. WHAT? I didn’t know people STILL made homemade bread. LOL!! It got me thinking about trying to find recipes online and giving it a shot once I get off of bed rest.

Do you make homemade bread? I bet your house smells out of control delicious if you do! Nom. Nom. Nom.

  2. So, I make a lot of homemade bread. But my son will be the first to tell you that while he likes my white bread, it’s just not as good as the store stuff (and I have to reluctantly agree with him, having grown up eating Wonder Bread myself). I’m going to try this buttery white bread recipe – it looks more like what Jake has in mind.

  3. So I tried the buttery white bread recipe. I baked one loaf up in a regular bread pan, and the other in a pullman pan. Both were fantastic! Jake and I have a new favorite white bread recipe. 🙂
