Travel Blogging: The Ritz Carlton Ft. Lauderdale (Picture HEAVY – Come And Enjoy!)

I will be the first to admit that I don’t know a lot about traveling with kids, much less staying in luxury hotels with them.

But I do have a little sister who is 15 years old and as a fun girl’s night out I thought it might be really cool to take her to the Ritz Carlton in Ft. Lauderdale for a day/night of pampering.

I totally underestimated just HOW cool that would make me. I am now officially big sister of the year! My little sis was beyond blown away. She couldn’t believe how amazing it was. She just kept repeating — “They’re treating us like royalty!”

As for myself, maybe I’m just a big kid too because I was also totally impressed. I mean, c’mon now. I started fanning myself for about two seconds in my lounge chair and a hunky pool boy came running over to ask if I wanted him to move an umbrella over so we’d be in the shade. C’MON!!!!

This was seriously the perfect get away for us. It was a family friendly hotel, but still had enough adult luxuries to keep the big kids happy too 🙂

In my day to day life, I’m a wedding photographer in Chile but I’d love to start dabbling in hotel photography. Here’s my perspective of the Ritz Carlton, Ft. Lauderdale. Hope you like.

Wow.. the Ritz look awesome! Aside from pampering, did you also get to experience Fort Lauderdale? I read that the place has got a lot to offer and I bet those are very charming... I hope too to get my niece in Ritz to experience the "royal treatment". Haha..

Funny you should say that, we actually walked down the street and went inside the W lobby to check it out and it looked like a nightclub! Nice enough for adults, but I was VERY glad that I hadn't taken my little sister there. The Ritz was a better choice, by far.
