Today is International Women’s Day (IWD) and cabi asked me to talk a little bit about being a business woman and an entrepreneur. I’ve run my own business since 2005 and am so thankful for my occupation… but it does have its ups and downs.
If you aren’t familiar, IWD (March 8th) is a celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women throughout the world. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
cabi sent me the Siena Blouse and I’m wearing it as the centerpiece of my above outfit. It’s from the Spring 2016 Collection! Proceeds of the Siena Blouse go to the Heart of cabi Foundation which supports the first one-for-one micro lending program that helps fund small business loans and training programs for female entrepreneurs in developing countries. What a great way to give back — simply purchase the above blouse and get involved.
Now, onto the point of this post!
