Traveling Mom and She Buys Cars asked me and Audrey McClelland to speak at Toyota’s 2014 NY Auto Show exhibit. We set up a Spring Trends station and had the opportunity to meet all the women who were walking the floor and admiring the new rides that will soon hit the road.
After a quick presentation, we spent the next two hours talking about the power of color, accessories, and getting a bang for your buck!
(Jewelry from Meet Mark, J Crew, La Mer watches, C Wonder)
(Nail Polish from Essie, Cover Girl, Spoiled)
(Makeup bag from Kate Spade)
(Makeup from CoverGirl, Tarte, L’Oreal)
(Makeup remover from Ponds)
(Clothing from Nordstrom Rack, Meet Mark, Bloomingdales)
Here’s a look at what we brought along. Yes, everything on this table came from one of our homes!! LOL! It was like a peek into our closets, I swear.
Here’s what we highlighted:
- Colorful jewelry
- Statement necklaces – bold pieces
- Bright prints
- Light sweaters with multi-media appeal
- Taking chances with your nail polish
- A smokey eye
- Pink and orange lipsticks
- Accessorizing with scarves
- Having a clean routine at the end of the night
When it was all over… I was upset! You know I can talk beauty and fashion all night long. LOL!
The Jacob Javitz center was PACKED and I mean PACKED. Every car company on the floor was having their private party the night before the official open. Audrey and I were so excited to be there.
I wish I had more time to run around and see all the cool cars. I might head back there this weekend with the family to get a better look.
Lots of friends came out to support. It was a wonderful night out! Thank you to Kim and Scotty for having us on board!!
