Last night, I went to check out the Spring 2012 Collection from Stella & Dot jewelry at their showroom in NY city. I LOVED it! I love accessorizing and their jewelry was the right mix of edgy and elegant. Stella & Dot is a jewelry line that is designed by strong, talented women and sold by strong, talented women. They keep their prices affordable by not having any retail stores. Women host trunk shows all over the country and sell the jewelry from their living rooms. Not only is it empowering women to become financially independent, it’s also a great way to get friends and family together and share the goodies.
Some trends I noticed last night are stones, fringe and lots of ‘heavy metal.’ Emerald green is major right now, so an emerald green necklace with stones is the perfect way to add jazz to jeans and a tee.

There’s a rocker edge in all that I love so I loved that the edgy trend for women is still rocking on. I can tell you that these pieces are really lightweight (I checked). I hate when I start the day with a piece of jewelry and have to take it off because it’s too uncomfortably heavy.
I loved this collection of studs! Even if you want to go for this subtle look, you can still have fun with it.
