I love shopping at The Children’s Place. I’m not kidding! I had $200 to spend at the store and I almost couldn’t carry it all out! WOWZAS! What DEALS. The day I went into shop, the entire store was 40% off and then I had a 20% off coupon. Can you STAND it? I LOVE to bargain shop like that – especially when the clothing is on trend and oh so cute.
Featured Pieces: Oxford Shirt, Daddy’s Little Cool Guy, Plaid Oxford Shirt, V Neck Argyle Sweater,
I picked up a few key pieces for the Spring and outfitted each of my three children. There are a few different looks that I put together…but am saving for another post – look out for it next week. Want a sneak peek? Check out my fashion haul video below!
Can you STAND IT?! ALL THOSE CLOTHES! I thought I would get a bill for at least $500! But it was less than half of that.
Since I did all that shopping, I wanted to give you a few tips for when you start to think Spring for your little ones.
Spring Trends Shopping Tip #1: Mix and Match Bold Colors:
Notice what I did with Caleb’s look in particular. I put bright yellow with bright blue with… bright orange. You might think that it’s all just too much for one outfit. Perhaps for an adult it would be! But not for a child. On a child, it’s absolutely perfect! Go bright and go bold and don’t be apologetic about it for one second!
Spring Trends Shopping Tip #2: Layer And Consider Transitional Pieces
Spring is very transitional – especially in the beginning of the season. I love to let my kids wear shorts and sweaters because it works perfectly for April and early May weather. Another trick is to layer up! It’s always so much colder in the morning, right? By lunch, my son usually needs to take off his sweater and just keep on his shirt while in school. Layering gives him that option. Plus it just looks cute on kids.
Featured Pieces: Mixed Print Dress, Jasmine Wedge Sandals, Denim Jacket, Rainbow Beaded Owl Necklace
Spring Trends Shopping Tip #3: Don’t Forget To Accessorize
My daughter LOVES to accessorize and I mean L-O-V-E. Don’t just grab the perfect dress. Consider picking up a fab jacket, on-trend sandals and some jewelry to round out the look. I can’t reiterate that I bought all of these clothes at an amazing price! AMAZING. You will not break the bank shopping at The Children’s Place. But you WILL score some adorable pieces for your family that they will look great in all year long.
