Smile Zemi – An Alternative To Tutors And Learning Centers

We have a child that’s been in tutoring for quite some time. And can I be honest with you? He doesn’t enjoy going. Because of this, my husband and I have researched endlessly for an extra help alternative and found Smile Zemi to be a great solution.

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.

What is Smile Zemi?

Smile Zemi is a tablet-based educational learning system tailored to meet the needs of elementary school children grades one through five. It is designed to improve academic performance and is aligned with Common Core State Standards (Math and ELA). Caleb struggles in both of these subjects, and I love that this one tool tackles both pain points for us at once.

Of course, we are still involved in helping him get through the tougher problems in his homework. This tool is really designed to provide additional practice and walkthroughs. It helps fine-tune what children are working on with visuals, graphics, and do-overs. The children can work at their own pace and not be embarrassed about needing to hear something again. I really love that.

Rewards While Learning

As I mentioned, the learning is visual, engaging, and fun. This program really keeps our son plugged in. Especially because there are reward systems in place that make Caleb want to proceed to the next level. When he does, he unlocks bonuses and different abilities. It really makes the “gamer” in him happy.

We are currently in October, and Smile Zemi is showcasing a Halloween pack that comes automatically installed. I love how the timely games and activities that are in place keep my son interested in learning, all while fine-tuning his abilities.

No Web Browser Access

Parents, I have great news. The Smile Zemi is designed for learning purposes only. There is no access to web browsers or games. I LOVE THIS. When I used to give him my computer or iPad to do additional work at home, I would often find Caleb veering off and doing his own thing. Well, the Smile Zemi doesn’t allow for such behavior. Bliss!

Cut out all the distractions without any unnecessary conversations about allowances. There is no need to discuss access to the Internet because the device literally doesn’t have it. Period.

Tracking Progress

As a mom, I want to know how much my child has accomplished every day, which is possible in real-time thanks to their smartphone app. This allows me to check in with my son and ensure he is doing what we agreed on as part of his afterschool work.

MSRP: $329.99 (+ a monthly subscription fee of $99.99)
