Saved 64% Off My Grocery Bill This Week – Here’s How!

I saved 64% today – I think that is an all-time high for me! Admittedly, this isn’t the healthiest purchases – but I am making dessert for the next three days and needed SUPPLIES. Lots of holiday gatherings this weekend. So, I figured to stock up in one shopping trip. Remember, I used Living Rich with Coupons to help me sort through the circular.

King Kullen doubles all coupons under $1 and up to 5 coupons that are valued $1. Here’s my purchase:

  • $0.50/2 Green Giant Canned Corn, Peas or Green Beans, exp. 1/7/12 (GM 11/13/11)
  • free after coupon

Betty Crocker Supermoist Cake Mix and Betty Crocker Ready to Spread Frosting (x4)

  • $0.75 off Betty Crocker Supermoist Cake Mix AND Ready To Spread Frosting, exp. 1/7/12 (GM 11/13/11)

Deal Idea:
Buy 1 Cake Mix and 1 Frosting
Use $0.75 off wyb both
pay $1.28 for both after coupon

  • $1/1 WhoNu? Cookies, exp. 12/25/11 (SS 10/23/11) (doubled)
  • $0.99 after coupon

Cool Whip – $0.99 (no coupon) x4

  • $3/1 Theraflu Warming Relief Syrup or Caplets, exp. 1/21/12 (SS 12/04/11)
  • $1.99 after coupon

Nissan Soup – $.79 (x3)

  • $1/3 coupon (doubled)
  • $.12 each

Bertolli – $.79 each (I had coupons but they were for Whole Wheat which wasn’t included) (x2)

Kozy Shack – free (had coupon from company – cannot duplicate)

Paul Newman Lemonade – not on sale but I needed it (x2)

  • $.50/2

Danish cake – no coupon  – but going to party tonight

Total Savings: $64.53

Total Paid: $35.09

Woot! Woot! Have you started to incorporate coupons yet?
