NYC Pizza That Will Make You Drool

If you know anything about my husband, you know that he is a LOVER of side trips and impromptu adventures. Yesterday, I took the family to attend a Yo Gabba Gabba press preview at Brooklyn Bowl (an AWESOME bowling alley in Williamsburg – the food will knock your socks off). When the function was over and we got the children into their car seats, Bill said he heard that one of the best pizzas in NYC was from a restaurant called ‘Motorino‘. Outlets like the NY Times, NY Mag and Chow Hound all said it was worth the shot. So off we went and BOY that puppy was good.

The kids were still really excited about meeting their favorite TV stars. They just couldn’t believe that they hugged those characters.

We also hit up Blue Bottle – the trendiest coffee shop I’ve ever seen. It was formerly a garage I believe. Bill said it was a really good cup o’ joe. I didn’t have any but trust his judgment.

If you are visiting Brooklyn in the near future, I would definitely put these places on your ‘To-Do’ list!!

You just need to find a place that has brick oven pizza - that's the trick. I'm sure there's one by you!

and - please don't remind me how big my kids are. can't handle it. Time is going by too quickly !!!!!!!!!
