Two days ago my daughter announced that she will only wear dresses from now on. That’s it. End of story. I find this a bit ironic because I am probably in a dress 3x a year. It’s not my go to look. In fact, I try to avoid wearing them at all costs, but my 5 year old is the complete opposite.
We bought Easter shoes last weekend and she’s worn them about 6 times already. They click and they clack and they are shiny black. Her absolute favorite pair to DATE.
She dresses herself now which is awesome because it requires less of me in the morning, but I guess her making this decision is just another sign that my baby is growing up.
Bitter sweet as is everything else. My big little girl.

too cute. it is so hard to watch them start making their own decisions. i have a 5 year old myself. :)
