Mario & Sonic At The Rio 2016 Olympic Games Review

My kids can’t get enough of Mario & Sonic At The Rio 2016 Olympic Games for the Nintendo 3DS.  With 14 events to choose from – ranging from Boxing to Soccer to Golf, to Swimming, to Table Tennis and more – they are having a great time earning medals and getting through the sequences. I mean… who doesn’t want to feel like they are part of the Olympics, right?

Take on fun and exciting events set throughout the host city of the Olympics – Rio de Janeiro. Even the music keeps up with the theme. I love the fact that you can be one of several different characters. It doesn’t just end with Sonic and Mario. My daughter Natalie has a few female Olympians to choose from including Princess Peach (her favorite)

As a parent who is constantly on the go, I can totally appreciate that the Nintendo 3DS doesn’t have to be connected to the Wifi to work. This game can function while we are in the car, on a plane or while we are waiting in line at the supermarket. A parent’s dream come true. Mario & Sonic At The Rio 2016 Olympic Games gives enough variety for my 8 and 10 year olds to keep them engaged.

The characters must train before competing which teaches my children to work for something in the real world. They also earn money (apples) that they can use to spend on clothing which boost their ability. It’s all about building up for the Olympics!

So, if you are looking for a fun game for your kids to play on the Nintendo 3DS, check out Mario & Sonic At The Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
