Inside The Kitchen: Easy OREO Truffles (NO BAKE DESSERT)

LOVE THIS! My beautiful cousin made these Oreo truffles on Christmas Eve and she took pictures for my blog! That’s how you know your family has your back. 🙂 So awesome – and believe me – they were delicious! We only had a few left at the end of the night!

Are you looking for a no bake dessert? Well, this one is just perfect!! Here’s how to make these Easy Oreo Truffles:

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) package OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, divided
  • 1 (8 ounce) package PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages BAKER’S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, melted

Directions

Crush 9 of the cookies to fine crumbs in food processor; reserve for later use.

Crush cookies in a resealable plastic bag using a rolling pin. Crush remaining 36 cookies to fine crumbs; place in medium bowl.

Add cream cheese; mix until well blended. Roll cookie mixture into 42 balls, about 1-inch in diameter.

Dip balls in chocolate; place on wax paper-covered baking sheet. (Any leftover chocolate can be stored at room temperature for another use.) Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs.

Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour. Store leftover truffles, covered, in refrigerator.

The recipe is from AllRecipie.com. Thanks Sandra!!

They did not take long at all! i had some issues though because the recipe said that i could use a blender to mix the cream cheese and the oreos.. but that was so wrong. so i switched to a few methods then finally went to the hand-mixer, and from then on it was smooth sailing! :)
