Hotel Za Za In Dallas Is Something Else!

I took pictures of my room using my own camera and then went online to see what shots were available on Hotel Za Za’s website and decided to go with their version. CHECK OUT MY ROOM!  This photo is slightly different from the one I am staying in. My sheets are all white and I don’t have chairs in front of the couch. Other than that, it pretty much looks just like this.

I’m in Dallas for the weekend with Nissan. The company invited 10 bloggers down to test drive the Murano Cross Cabriolet and are using Hotel Za Za as their home base. I’ve seen pictures of the car and BOY and I excited. I have a Nissan Murano as my family car but this one is so much COOLER!!!

Our night started with cocktails and drinks at Urban Oasis. See all those chairs on top of the blue light?  That’s the POOL!! How cool is that? The entire vibe of the space is URBAN CHIC. It really felt like I was dead smack in the middle of THE SCENE.

I felt WAY underdressed, the women of Dallas are seriously giving me a complex. Talk about absolute perfection! My husband is NOT allowed to visit. 🙂

This picture of the lobby does it NO JUSTICE. I almost want to write Hotel Za Za and tell them they need to update their website to include larger shots so viewers can really experience what their property feels like. When I walked in, my mouth dropped. I’m not one for boutique hotels – I frequently visit the big names – but this trip has absolutely changed my mind!!

When you enter the lobby, there is fashionable art work all around. Details that you miss walking in you will notice walking out. Statues dressed in couture gowns. Trendy coffee table books. Fresh flowers. Even the elevator is cool! I didn’t even know that was possible!

The group had dinner at Dragonfly and I started off my meal with the Tortilla Soup. Ah-MAZING! Then a massive migraine sunk in and I left before my main course arrived. Traveling on the same day as a function doesn’t always work for me… but I couldn’t have asked for an extra day to manage my headaches, so I took a chance and failed. The soup alone was enough for me to know that the restaurant was good. And after seeing what some of my friends thought about their meals on Twitter, I know it wasn’t a disappointment.

End result, check out Hotel Za Za! There’s a few of them around the country and if I am ever near one again, I will most certainly book a room.

I stay here a lot for work. It's ahhhmazing!!!! Great for a girls getaway or romantic weekend as well. It's expensive but I highly recommend it. It's definitely the see and be seen place of Dallas!!!! Celebrities are always running around there too!
