Ghoul To Glam For Halloween With Make Up Forever @makeupforeverofficial

Halloween is right around the corner. Do you have your costume ready? If not, Make Up Forever has you covered. I spent a fun evening with Make Up Forever learning how to get ghouled and glammed up for Halloween.  Make Up Forever is known for their professional quality makeup. It’s no surprise that they’re often the go-to brand for movie sets and other ghoulish scenarios. They invited us over to show us a few tricks of the trade.

For Halloween, Make Up Forever artists can give you a customized look for your costume or you can choose one of their 10 incredible looks ranging from Get Skulled and Recently Deceased to Medieval Princess and Life in Plastic. They showed us how to achieve some flawless aspects of two of the looks: Life In Plastic (think Barbie to the extreme) and Day Of The Dead (think lace and skeletons).

2 1

Lijha Stewart, Make Up Forever‘s Director of Education and Artistry walked us through the Life In Plastic look. This look is extreme for Halloween but she showed us how achieving that flawless complexion can be done for everyday wear. The model had imperfect skin (shocker!) and Lijha showed us how to hide these imperfections.

She also showed us how to get that perfect contoured look without looking like a bad Instagram makeover. The key is to blend! It’s also super important to do both dark and light areas. Either one by itself can lead to a mask-like face.

For Halloween, if you’re not up to trying one of these looks on your own, leave it up to the pros. Below are the Halloween specials at select Make Up Forever stores.

$60-Full Face Character Transformation (45-60 minute application)

$100-Face, Neck, Arms Light Effects (60-90 minute application)

$150-Full Face and Body Effects (90-120 minute application)
