Moms. They are just so important to us. They love us, nurture us, and help us to grow. They support us and inspire us all with the sweet yet stern touch well all need. I try my best to be a great mom to my kids. I try to love them and encourage them to follow their dreams and not to judge and criticize their choices. My mom was always so great with that. She never shot me down or disparaged me, even when I came up with some pretty “interesting” ideas. The faith and support or a mother is vital in any child’s development. It’s essential. It’s everything.

Inspired by true events, Eddie the Eagle is a feel-good story about Michael “Eddie” Edwards (Taron Egerton), an unlikely but courageous British ski-jumper who never stopped believing in himself – even as an entire nation was counting him out. With the help of a rebellious and charismatic coach (played by Hugh Jackman), Eddie takes on the establishment and wins the hearts of sports fans around the world by making an improbable and historic showing at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics.  From producers of Kingsman: The Secret Service, Eddie the Eagle stars Taron Egerton as Eddie, the loveable underdog with a never say die attitude.

For me, this movie is all about thanking mom! Watch this “thanks mom” video and tell me you don’t feel happy and start thinking of all of your own reasons you’d love to say thanks to your mom!!!

Maybe this is the perfect time to think of some ways to really say thanks to you mom?? How about I start it off with a giveaway? I guess you can keep it for yourself, but maybe this is one small way to say thanks to your mom? One (1) lucky winner will receive:

  • $50 Visa gift card, maybe to take mom to see the film in theaters
  • T-Shirt

Thanks Mom for keeping our family together. I know it was hard with an alcoholic in the house but you did your best. I love you to the moon and back and appreciate all the sacrifices you made to raise 5 prosperous children despite the hardships. Wishing to see you again in heaven.
