I can’t believe I never posted this! This is what my family ate on Christmas Eve. I’ve been having this dish since I was 2 years old. It’s a tradition and I wanted to document it for future reference.
Are you looking for a SUPER easy recipe for seafood pasta? Then this post is for you!
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of lobster tails
- 1 pound of shrimp
- 1 pound of scallops
- 24 little clams
- 2 28 oz tomato sauce cans
- 1 cup of red wine
- 1 large onion chopped
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 2 cans of Progresso White Clam Sauce
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- a dash of pepper flakes
- 2 pounds of pasta
Sautee onion and garlic and pepper flakes in oil. Then add wine and sauce. Bring to a boil. After it cooks for about 20 minutes, add your clam sauce. Then put in clams, lobster tails, shrimp and scallops. Bring back to a boil. If the clams are open, and your shrimp / lobster tails are pink – you are done! Serve with pasta.

WE don't use 7 fishes - and I think traditionally it's not mixed with pasta. I know friends that do 7 different dishes -- so I"m not sure. :)

Thanks for posting this recipe. Is this one of the traditional Feast of the Seven Fishes dish?
