Daily Diary: You Know You Have A Good Friend When…

20111218-200943.jpg

I have to give you a little backstory about one of my psychotic neurosis. Whenever I stay in a hotel room, I ALWAYS have to sleep on the bed furthest from the door. In my brain, I feel like it gives me a few extra seconds to react when the murderer comes popping through my door.

This is how it’s been… forever.

I headed into the city last night to meet Audrey for a video shoot we are working on. She arrived to our hotel first and as I was taking the elevator up to our room, I started to silently panic about the bed choice.

I’m not SO irrational that I would ask her to switch… but it would have CONSTANTLY be on my mind if I had to be next to the door.

I knocked.

She opened.

And the first thing she said after my hug was,  “Don’t worry – I gave you the bed furthest from the door.”

You know you have a good friend when she accepts you fully for who you are. 🙂

Haha I'm just as crazy because whenever I sleep in a bed, I always sleep furtherest from the door for the EXACT same reason! Always been that way. Completely irrational, but I can't help myself!

She's a keeper! ;) It's definitely rare these days to find good friends who really "get you" and who pay attention to those little details. So many people are too busy wrapped up in their own 'stuff' to notice anything about anyone else!

Hope you guys have a blast! :)

Aww that's so sweet! :)

I need the bed closest to the window because I feel claustrophobic in the one by the wall. To each his own right. Luckily my friends understand too :)
