Daily Diary: We Saw ‘Disney On Ice Presents Mickey & Minnie’s Magical Journey’

I’m such a sucker for an ice show! Last night, the entire family went to see ‘Disney On Ice Presents Mickey & Minnie’s Magical Journey’ at Nassau Coliseum. Naturally, we had to get some cotton candy. The kids wouldn’t settle until I was holding that bag in my hand. I love that it always comes with a cool hat. Since Ariel was part of the show, we opted for the Flounder Hat.

My nerdy husband even wore it for a while.

It was opening day and the kids watched scenes from Peter Pan, Lilo and Stitch, The Little Mermaid,, The Lion King and of course Minnie and Micky. As usual, the dancers did not disappoint. At one point, I looked over to Natalie and she wasn’t blinking. I asked her if she was tired and she said, “No Mom. I’m just so impressed!” That made me laugh out loud. 😉

Want to know what else was impressive? The fact that the cotton candy came with two hand wipes!! HELLO! Talk about one of mom’s little pleasures. I was so excited about this that I took a pic! 🙂

I also learned that I need to watch Lilo and Stitch! I was CRYING during the number because I never heard of the story. Killed parents. Someone to love Lilo unconditionally. PLEASE! Pass me the tissues!!
