Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. That’s what the last few months have felt like for me. I’m sure most of you can completely understand. It’s the feeling that you will never be done. If it’s not the bills – it’s work. If it’s not work – it’s the kids’ schedule. If it’s not the schedule – it’s life. And so on… and so on.
You tend to live life in fast motion. Running to finish just to get to your next start. Never slowing down long enough to smell the roses, or to embrace an old friend, or to just… be.
Well, yesterday afternoon, I had a few moments to spare. In between landing in Miami and meeting up with the P&G team for dinner, my friends and I spent some time by the pool. We chatted. We laughed. We ate and we soaked in some rays.
I kept taking pictures because I wanted to remember the feeling – the stillness.
My husband has been begging me to visit Miami for years. YEARS I tell ya! And now I know why – it’s paradise on Earth!
Obviously, my mania will return. It’s part of life. But whenever I’m feeling stretched too thin, I’m going to pull up this post and relive this afternoon.
What a wonderful day…
