Oh my goodness – I have SO MUCH TO WRITE about the Princess Cruise. I mean… SOOOOOOOO MUCH. Today, I am heading into the city to do a clothing pull with H&M for an Extra TV shoot I’m doing tomorrow with Natalie. Literally, walking out of the door in a few minutes which means I don’t have much time to update before I do.
But I had to get a Daily Diary post in — especially about this moment.
When Bill and I walked into our house from the cruise, it was like we were in a movie. My mother and mother-in-law were busy cooking us a meal, laughing and sharing the kitchen. The kids all ran to the door and embraced us in such a hug that it almost pushed us over. Bill’s father was in the living room waiting to greet his son. The dogs were going wild. Screaming, hugging, happiness, kissing – lasting for at least 5 minutes.
It was so very nice.
After our greeting, I ran into my bedroom and took off my clothes and replaced them with warm pajamas. It was FREEZING. Oh my word. Coming from the Caribbean, 55 degrees was not feeling good on my skin. 🙂
We had dinner and then spent the night playing Skylanders Trap Force (more on that in a bit too — I make a lot of promises, don’t I?) and then I went to bed before 10.
Sunday, we didn’t do much outside of the house. We left to run a few errands and visit the park, but kept it pretty low key.
Today, the kids have off thank goodness. I will be in and out of the city before they know it. I feel like making chili tonight — it FEELS like a chili kinda day in NY.
I said it before and I will say it again… I am so glad to be home.
