Vroom. Vroom. Baby.
While attending the Traveling Mom Conference in Disney I had the opportunity to test drive some Chevrolet cars. You know I’m all about style… so immediately some of these rides caught my eye. I mean wow. Check out that grill and that red. How can you go wrong?
Boom.
We went on a scavenger hunt all around Orlando and had a GREAT time with the team. Each Chevrolet was equipped with OnStar – a system that helps with navigation and support. Obviously, this aided in our attempt to WIN the challenge presented in front of us. But I know all about OnStar because my GM car has it and I’ve been a huge fan for years.
Luckily, I haven’t gotten into an accident yet. I’ve never been placed in a situation where my children needed assistance and I was unable to give it to them. OnStar is that extra help you always want to have for emergencies. During the conference, we heard a call that a little boy made after his mother had a seizure. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room. He is safe and so is his mother because that little boy was able to call for assistance simply by clicking the OnStar button. Every driver should have this technology in their hands.
And on a lighter note… I always know where the nearest Starbucks is when I’m traveling. Always. And you better believe I call in to check whenever I leave NY. 🙂
I was part of a fairly large scavenger hunt team and was placed in the 2015 Chevy Suburban. I kept thinking about how this car would be perfect for my ever-growing family. As large as it is, the vehicle still felt very stylish inside.
Sleek and smooth lines, leather trim, and a luxury feel. That’s what the Suburban offered and I took it all in. It was a car that I felt good driving. Besides having a fab looking interior, the exterior and the bones of the car provided a truly safe ride – something every mother is looking for while out on the road with her little ones.
I love how Chevrolet now offers 8 chic colors for drivers to choose from – ranging from your classic blacks, whites and beiges and moving up all the way to berries and charcoals. My husband is all about the rims and the wheels of a car and with the 2015 Suburban, you can order up to 22″!!

I just want to call out one feature that I particularly LOVED about the 2015 Chevrolet Suburban. If you veer outside of your lane while driving, your seat vibrates to warn you that it happened! WHAT?! Amazing. So, those late night driving sessions where you could use a little warning — this car does it. If you veer to the left, the left part of your seat vibrates. If you veer to the right, the right side vibrates. Ah-mazing.
My friend Desiree made a fabulous video talking about the SPECS of the car — check it out below:
