Fall is calling, and bartaco answered with a cozy, craveable new lineup that feels like a warm hug in taco form. I stopped in for dinner with my family to try their new fall menu, and let’s just say… I’m already planning my next visit.

The standout for me was the Crispy Oyster Taco—perfectly fried oysters topped with a tangy lemon-parsley slaw and a touch of remoulade. It’s crunchy, creamy, and just a little zesty—the kind of taco you dream about later. I also tried the Retro Pork Tamale, and it’s pure comfort food. The soft masa with the pork and tomatillo salsa hits all the right notes.
If you’re in the mood for something warm and satisfying, don’t miss the Pork Posole or Chicken Tortilla Soup—both are rustic, hearty, and full of fall flavor.

Of course, bartaco wouldn’t be bartaco without their killer cocktails. The Passion Fruit Oaxacan Margarita is bright and tropical with just the right smoky hint from the mezcal mist, and the Old Thymer is a smooth, cozy bourbon sip that tastes like sweater weather in a glass.
