Day 1: Photos From The Disney Fantasy Cruise – Inaugural Launch (Stateroom And Pool)

I just walked into my room after spending a wonderful day on The Disney Fantasy Inaugural Cruise. This is my FIRST cruise ever and I am soaking it all in!! Sure, I did a “cruise to nowhere” last year, but I can’t say it was the same thing. 18 hours on a boat shouldn’t count as cruising, right?  I’m so grateful to have several days on The Disney Fantasy – and I plan on documenting it all.

I have so many pictures to share – this post will be heavy with images, so forgive me!

So, this is the Disney Fantasy Ship. It is HUGE but at the same time manageable. I’ve been told that it’s actually 40% larger than the Disney Dream. Wow!

I spent the majority of my day in the “adult only” section which was simply magical. Somehow – with all that relaxation – I forgot to photograph the space. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?  I promise to get back there tomorrow so I can snap a few pictures.

This post will focus on my Disney Fantasy Stateroom and the main pool area.

I think it’s pretty crazy that I’m the first person to stay in this cabin. Because so, I don’t feel guilty walking around without socks on. If my husband saw me, he would be mortified. He’s a real germ phob. But Bill isn’t here – so I’m as free as a bird!! LOL

Anyway, my Disney Fantasy room is a nice size. There is a sitting area – which houses a couch and a desk – and a full tub in my room. Two things I did NOT expect to see.  There are also plenty of outlets and WiFi – yippee! The bathroom is split up into two rooms – one with a tub/shower and sink and the other with a toilet and sink. With plenty of closet space and a plush bed to call my own, you better believe I’m a happy camper.

Now onto the POOL. This area is SO AWESOME. Some people were able to bring their children which was nice to see. There were lots of happy faces everywhere you looked. Especially when you looked UP.

I’m going on that slide if it’s the last thing I do! SO COOL! It loops around the top deck and even pushes out slightly over the water. I’m giddy just thinking about the Aquaduck.

The boat is barely half filled, so that’s why there aren’t many people in the pictures. Still – you can tell that this is a fab place to lounge around. Every direction you walk, you will find dedicated places to serve drinks, ice cream, snacks and more. The staff is extremely attentive and are just about everywhere.

That’s it for tonight – unfortunately I’m crashing pretty hard. The patch behind my ear is making me really tired – but I’m not nauseous – so I will TAKE IT!

Come back tomorrow to see pictures of The Disney Fantasy Sp

Wow, I'm seriously floored at that room! I wouldn't have expected all that, either! Way cool.

I'm glad you aren't getting sick! Can't wait for more pics. And to hear about that crazy water slide/tube!
