Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats Recipe

What an easy way to have breakfast ready every morning.

Ingredients

– 1 cup oats  – 1 cup milk of your choice – ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce – 1 tablespoon maple syrup – ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon Toppings: – 1 small apple, diced – ¼ cup pecans, chopped – Extra cinnamon for sprinkling

Directions

1. Place oats in a 16 oz glass mason jar. 2. Add the milk, maple syrup, applesauce, and cinnamon. Screw the lid on the jar and give it a shake. Place the jar in the refrigerator overnight. 3. When ready to eat the next day, give the jar a shake again to allow all of the ingredients to blend. 4. Remove the lid and place chopped apples and pecans on top. 5. Sprinkle on a little extra cinnamon if desired. Can be enjoyed cold or warm.
