We are WAY overdue for an adult game night at the Sweeney house. I’m talking 6 months overdue! It’s time to get that ball rolling!!!
I’ve been testing out some fun games and wanted to share them with you in case you are a board game kind of family.
Telestrations is the visual equivalent of the classic school-yard game “telephone.” It’s a fun-filled sketching game in which everyone’s attempts at “art” can turn hilarious. The game starts with a secret word that is passed from player to player. See what happens as the word is sketched, interpreted, and then sketched again.
Reverse Charades – $24.95
Reverse Charades is awesome. It’s a twist on the classic game of charades. Instead of one person acting out a clue for a team to guess, in Reverse Charades, a team acts out clues for one person to guess. The goal is to guess as many words as possible in 60 seconds. This is a staple in my house.
Loaded Questions – $22.97
Loaded Questions is a multiplayer game that tests your knowledge of other people’s opinions. PLEASE NOTE: This is only funny if you really know the group you are playing with. When I play this game with my cousins, we are crying that’s how hard we are laughing.
Blokus Classics Game – $20.99
This one is more for a quieter group. 4 people max. Blokus is a strategy board game that challenges spatial thinking. Your goal is to try to make your opponent end up with the most unused (high valued) pieces at the end of the game. Your color blocks your opponents patterns. The game ends when there are no more moves to make. Each person counts up their squares – least points win.
