LATB Attends Cooking Demo With Chef Jeremy Marshall And Stop & Shop



Stop & Shop held an intimate luncheon to show some fun, family-friendly but sophisticated ways to use Sorrento and President cheese and I was in heaven. I LOVE cheese. I’ve never gotten into cheese sticks but I love cheese dishes.

The luncheon was held at Aqua Grill in NYC. The meal started with Crostini of Sorrento Fresh Mozzarella, with Truffle Spinach and mushrooms, over Rocket Arugula and Aged Balsamic Vinegar. It was beyond delicious. I chose salmon for my entree and it came with President Fat-Free Feta with Parisienne Zucchini and Roasted Plum Tomatoes in a fresh basil sauce. It even sounds yummy.


For dessert, the chef demonstrated how to make the Sorrento Velvety Smooth Ricotta Cheese Sorbet with warm local strawberries in a strawberry syrup. The syrup was served warm so it melted the sorbet a bit, which made it all the more delicious. I was in awe at how easy the chef made it look (you can see him talk about the things he made in the clip).

These were dishes that I never thought cheese could be used with but the results were mouth-watering.
