Field Report: Rachel Zoe Spring/Summer 2012 Collection #NYFW

I had the opportunity to take a sneak peak at renowned stylist turned designer Rachel Zoe’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection and in true Rachel Zoe fashion, she did not disappoint! In the words of Zoe herself, this collection was inspired by:

Brigitte Bardot. Late sixties, early seventies, running around the south of France, being her glamorous self, but never kind of trying to be glamorous, she just is because she’s like the coolest thing ever.

The collection showcased a wide range of offerings from a royal purple jumper, trousers and blazers and cocktail dresses that were both chicly short and long and flowing. The color palate ran the gamut featuring lots of creams, metallics, royal purple and reds. Taken together this is a stunning collection from Zoe that has me counting the days until Spring.

Zoe, pictured here with her mother, also looked stunning in a floor length black dress that showcased the same effortless elegance as the rest of the collection.
