Donating Hanes Socks To Hurricane Sandy Victims @HanesComfort

It’s not over. I know that the news has stopped talking about the communities that still aren’t on their feet due to Hurricane Sandy, but it’s not fixed! There are still people without homes, without heat, without ANY of their possessions. Their lives have been turned upside down but because it’s no longer a HOT topic… it’s not newsworthy.

Living on Long Island, we are still very much aware of what’s going on because it’s happening to our friends and family.

My daughter’s school had a Hurricane Sandy fundraiser this week and Bill brought along a few items from home including a box of Hanes products. As part of Hanes Comfort Crew, the company actually sent everyone a box to donate to whatever charity we wanted. It only made sense for us to support our local community. This is one of the many reasons why I love working with Hanes throughout the year. A company that gives back is alright in my book!! 🙂
