Mondays can be tough. Having those 2 days off can be such a tease. You get some time to enjoy yourself, see your friends and family, do fun things, or maybe do nothing at all. It’s a joyous time we all know, love, and crave. It’s the reason we all work, right? Mondays, on the other hand, need some serious help. Mondays need a pep talk because their vibe is just letting everyone down. Mondays should be ashamed of itself. LOL.
So how can we all make Mondays a little bit better? Jimmy Dean believes that good mornings lead to great days. Starting the day with a great breakfast, like a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, can have a positive impact on your day. And, when you’re feeling good, you’re likely to “do some good” and maybe make the world a brighter place.
Sounds pretty good so far, right?
Do some good. That’s a nice thought, but it can be tough given all of our busy lives, especially when we are experiencing those Monday blues. Remember, though, doing some good doesn’t have to be a major, news worthy undertaking. It can be small and easy. To help us out, Jimmy Dean is launching its new “Shine it Forward” campaign today to remind us all how small acts of kindness – volunteering, buying coffee for a co-worker, or holding the door open for a stranger – can create a positive chain reaction and turn the world into a brighter place.

I always try to start my Mondays off right with my family and kids. I’ll make them their favorite breakfast, I’ll play some fun music and sing, and I’ll write them a note or a joke to put in their lunchbox. If they’re lucky, they may even find a little treat in that lunchbox, too! It’s just as tough on the kids after a weekend of games, parties, and lots of fun to wake up and get back into the school groove. Getting them out the door happy and upbeat is my way to help them make Mondays work and have #MondaysForGood!!
In addition to calling on America to participate in #MondaysforGood and help Shine it Forward, Jimmy Dean is also spearheading a petition to make #MondaysForGood a national holiday. Please sign this petition to help make the first Monday of every November a National holiday.
So, did you sign the petition? Share how you do your part to Shine It Forward? I’d love to hear what you do? There are some wonderful stories out there, I know it. Inspire me and give me some new goodies for my Mondays!!
It’s time to take the worst day of the week and make it the best!!!
