This picture is perfect. My kids woke up nice and early only to find out that they didn’t have school. So, what did they do? They started face timing their friends – the McClelland boys. I was still sleeping when they started BTW.
Anyway – Audrey snapped this photo of my daughter on the iPad and my son’s Minecraft character (Spider Man) on the main screen. I thought it was a true representation of 2014. We live states away. Rhode Island to New York. Play dates between these kids don’t happen too often. But technology changes that a bit, doesn’t it?
They can play games together, go on missions, join forces, and actually SEE one another when they chat — despite the hundreds of miles that separate our families. I love it. I really love it.
And so do they.
