5-Minute No Bake Cherry Cheesecake Dip Recipe

This no bake cherry cheesecake dip recipe will become your absolute favorite go-to dessert for get togethers. As a hostess, this easy dessert dip is something I constantly turn to time and time again.

The beautiful thing about cherries is that they go with just about everything. That’s why I am such a fan! I’ve made cherry cookies, cherry cheesecake, cherry cheesecake brownies, cherry bars, and cherry stuffed Oreos on the blog. Hope you take a look!

Cherries go with just about everything. So, it doesn’t matter what you have on hand – whether it’s animal crackers, graham crackers, vanilla wafers or cookies… it will work!

That makes cheesecake dip an easy option for hostesses which is right up my alley. Personally, I like to put out several options for my guest to consider even though I personally like to eat this dessert dip with graham crackers. LOL!

Another bonus – you can make this cherry dip ahead of time and it will hold. So, if you are having a large party and want to knock a few things off your list, make this recipe the day before and don’t worry about it.

And by the way, I am showing this dessert on a plate, but if you have a pretty serving bowl, that would work, too! The only reason why I displayed it this way was to show you the layers. A bowl will make it easier for your guests to grab some of the product on their cracker. Something to consider.

Pour into serving bowl. Top with cherry pie filling and serve immediately with crackers.

If you are not ready to serve it right away, make sure to cover the cherry dip and refrigerate the dessert until you are ready to serve.

Store Bought Cherry Pie Filling VS. Homemade Cherry Pie Filling

This recipe uses store bought cherry pie filling – the one you get in the can. I absolutely love the taste and haven’t tried to make a homemade version. Personally, whenever I have guests over, I try to whip up something quick and easy. The canned cherry pie version offers up all the flavor I need to get this party started. Literally.

Tips For Cherry Cheesecake Dip

  • If you made this cherry dip ahead of time and are pulling it out of the refrigerator, let it sit a bit before serving. Otherwise, it will be too hard.
  • Don’t forget – you can serve this dip with a variety of items and you can offer them all at once. Don’t be afraid to commit to several options such as graham crackers, cookies, and wafers. But don’t sleep on chocolate covered options as well! After all, doesn’t chocolate and cherries sound divine!?
  • Looking to save a few calories? You can use light cream cheese and light whipped topping with great results. But save your calories somewhere else and just enjoy this recipe as is. PWEASE!

Can I Use Different Pie Fillings?

Absolutely! You don’t have to commit to making this cherry cheesecake dip… cherry. You could simply swipe out the canned version of fruit pie filling for your favorite option (including apple or blueberry).

Can I Make This Cherry Dip Low Calorie Or Low Fat?

Um… not really and I don’t want to lie to you. It’s a cheesecake dip, so we can do a few things to try to lessen the calories, but it is still not going to be the best thing for you to eat. We can make it… lowER. Let’s try that.

If you really want, switch out the sugar for Splenda and switch out the FULL FAT cream cheese for LOW FAT cream cheese. How is that?

How To Serve Your No Bake Cherry Cheesecake Dip Recipe

I like to serve this easy no-bake dip with graham crackers as I mentioned above, but there are a few different options for you to think about. If you have a tray that allows for several dividers, choose a few of my favorites and allow your guests to sample all the fun flavors:

  • Oreo cookies
  • Vanilla Oreo cookies
  • Vanilla wafers
  • Apple slices
  • Other fruit slices that aren’t too juicy
  • Cinnamon pita crisps
  • Sugar cookies
  • Waffle cone pieces
  • Anything else you’d like

Can I use Greek yogurt cream cheese?

Why are you trying to ruin everything OMG!? I mean… I GUESS if you want to use greek yogurt cream cheese in this recipe, you can but it won’t taste the same.

Just enjoy the full fat, full sugar version that I am trying to show to you, my friend! Trust me! But if you want to substitute a few things and you HAVE to try to add a little bit of protein into this mix… then go ahead. JUST DO IT. But I am not going to look.

Easy To Make And Fun To Serve

I just love this dip! Put this cheesecake mixture in your favorite serving dish and enjoy!
