FINALLY! I get to show you a little bit about my trip to LA with Keurig! I showed you all my pictures from the red carpet of the Emmy’s. I hope you enjoyed all 1000 pictures I posted. Yes, I went a little crazy. But I couldn’t stop snapping! All those TV stars. Come on!
So obviously, Audrey and I became tourists for a bit. Natalie – from Hollywood Hot Mom’s Club – took us around town and showed us all the fun spots. Do those steps look familiar to you? They should! They are the 90210 steps from the opening sequence. Woo hoo! Dylan forever baby!!
We enjoyed some drinks at the Mondrian pool. What a hotel! Have you ever stayed there before? I am going to post a video of the room I stayed in. Holy Hollywood! I mean – totally out of control fantastic. A suite fit for a queen… err… a celeb…. err…. a LA local. I was in heaven. I didn’t want to leave. No way. No how.
What’s a visit to the West Coast without a stop at the Polo Lounge? It was so funny because as soon as we walked in, the entire restaurant stopped and looked to see if we were “anyone”. Of course, we weren’t. All eyes were on us and then … they weren’t! It happened every time someone walked out onto the patio. It definitely is a “see and be seen” kinda vibe over there. By the end of the meal, I was doing the same damn thing.
Morning yoga was a lot of fun. My entire body was shaking. SHAKING. I am so out of shape. I really need to get more active. I mean – I literally need to at least start WALKING. Our instructor was SO NICE and has been on a billion shows. Do you recognize her?? Her name is Andrea Bogart.
Whenever we were back at the hotel, we hung out with the Keurig crew and tested out the new 2.0 machine. I am going to do a full review of it coming up soon. We LOVE IT.
Then it was off to the red carpet!! I already posted my photos from the Emmy’s. Here we are waiting in line to get through security. It was a HOT DAY. I was DYING in that long dress. Everyone else was smart to go short. I don’t know what I was thinking.
Once my blue toes hit the carpet, they felt so good. 🙂 I didn’t want to move… until the security guard told me to keep moving. And then of course I kept walking.
After several hours in the sun and out with the stars, we headed back to the hotel for our viewing party. Everyone got dressed up in their Emmy’s dress and grabbed a glass of champagne. I chose this one from Rent the Runway. I ordered THREE dresses for this trip because I am c-r-a-z-y. Sigh. I was in such a panic about not being home and having to have a nice dress. This one worked and fit. I don’t know what all my anxiety was over!
A great dinner. A ton of laughs. And then a coffee tasting (of course) with dessert. What an amazing trip!
Sorry it took me so long to actually get this post together. I have been having one heck of a month! In a good way of course. I’m heading to Vegas tomorrow to attend the ABC Expo. Working with two different brands – so be on the lookout for updates on that.
