This year, I decided that I would film whatever I wanted to talk about and not worry about including my family. I also am no longer focusing on views or niches or monetizing like crazy right out of the gate.
While I have over ten years on the platform, I now consider this a very new venture. Everything I am doing is TRULY trial and error. I’m learning how to make thumbnails, search for tags, and schedule my own content. I know. I know. My 13-year-old cousins could teach me these tricks, right?? LOL! Well, either way… I’m having a blast and that’s all that matters.

One part of YouTube that I don’t particularly enjoy is the mean comment arena from the Internet Trolls. I have come across a handful of pretty nasty people and cannot understand why they give so much time and energy to hate. Don’t they have friends and family to love? Maybe not?
Praying on them and that’s the truth. There’s too much hurt in this world already.
It took me some time to decide how I would handle Internet Trolls and I am pretty happy with my decision. Take a look at my video and let me know what you think. Do you feel like it is the right move?

I manage one of the craziest web comment sections ever and I could tell you stories that would make you cringe (death threats, personal information dug up, etc). I feel you on the mean people. I try to realize that it’s not really ME they are raging at and I don’t take (most of) it personally anymore. It took a long time to get there, though! They WANT the engagement and the attention, it’s air to them and gives them life. So, roll on and ignore it and you’ll be too boring for them bother with after a while…
