Walt Disney Studios just released their full movie trailers 2017 slate including all the trailers in a beautifully packaged email and I can’t wait to share the content with you. I am going to say yes to all of these. ALL OF THEM. One movie, in particular, is “this close” to being tattooed on my forehead. I think you can guess which one. cough* cough* pratt* Either way, let’s buckle up and get ready for an adventure.
As fitting as it is, I am currently on the Disney Fantasy Cruise with my family as part of the first group of people to celebrate “Star Wars Day at Sea” !!! My stormtrooper costume is packed! I just don’t know if I am going to be cool enough to wear it. I don’t mean “cool” as in “hip”. I mean “cool” as in “chilly.” We are in the Carribean after all! Time will tell.
Back to the movie slate — let’s take a look. So many trailers to enjoy!! I am one of those people that likes to get to the theatre EXTRA early because I CANNOT miss the trailers. I just CANNOT.
Here we go!
March 17, 2017 – BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (Walt Disney Studios)
OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD
Ok, before I even get into this movie … I just want to say that I am so proud of who Emma Watson grew up to become. She is a fine example for every young woman in Hollywood and beyond to look up to and I am so happy that Walt Disney chose her as Belle. It is truly FITTING. She is grace. She is intelligent. She is… more. If only all role models in our society would be sold bold to stand up for what they believe in. Bravo Emma for all that you are. I can’t wait to see what else you have up your sleeve.
Back to the movie.
April 21, 2017 – BORN IN CHINA (Disneynature)
Nature is rough. I have a love-hate relationship with these films if I am being honest with you. Heck, I have a fish tank right now that is brand new in my house and it is causing me to have a mental breakdown. I can’t handle life. Sometimes these films are just a little bit too real and when you add the dramatic music and the forced storylines, I end up a crying mess. But, I need to see them – because they show us things that we just would never see. We are part of a world that is so far apart from us. This is the world. This is life. I’m looking forward to watching this tale… but I’m bringing tissues.
May 5, 2017 – GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 (Marvel Studios)
What. What. What. What. What. What. Man – you just don’t KNOW how much I want to see this movie. I freaking dressed up as Chris Pratt at D23! Doesn’t that tell you anything?! Come on!! (Don’t believe me – check out this video)
Movie Trailers 2017 – May 26, 2017 – PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES (Walt Disney Studios)
Johnny always promised adventures and laughs — we are in. The whole family.
Movie Trailers 2017 – June 16, 2017 – CARS 3 (Disney / Pixar)
I am SUPER excited about Cars because Caleb is old enough to REALLY GET EXCITED ABOUT THIS ONE. All we DO is play with cars!! He is going to FLIP when this hits the theatres!!!!
November 3, 2017 – THOR: RAGNAROK (Marvel Studios)
It’s almost as if Marvel did this movie for my birthday. Like a special little present for me. Thank you, Marvel. Thank you…
Another GREAT movie I am SUPER into. I am a Marvel girl for sure!
(NO TRAILER – AHHH I’m a liar)
In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok,” Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his
former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!
Movie Trailers 2017 – November 22, 2017 – COCO (Disney / Pixar)
This looks FUN – especially since I have two guitar players in training at home. 🙂 First time I heard about it. Always love to see music promoted in films.
(Another one without a trailer — eek!)
Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history. Directed by Lee Unkrich (“Toy Story 3”), co-directed by Adrian Molina (story artist “Monsters University”) and produced by Darla K. Anderson (“Toy Story 3”), Disney•Pixar’s “Coco” opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 22, 2017.
