Record Your Family’s History With StoryWorth For Your Children @StoryWorth

Sometimes I feel like my life is spinning. I have so many things happening at once that I can barely get on top of it all. In fact, it’s not a thought… it’s a reality. There are memories that I know that I want to share with my children – moments that I know I want to store and tell/retell to them over and over again, but they fall through cracks likes sand. Time is fleeting and so are these instances.

Have you every wanted a way to capture these precious moments? Well, I have great news because I found an app that makes it fun and easy for you to share your stories with the people you love. It’s called StoryWorth. StoryWorth is a personal, meaningful, unique gift. It’s the gift of family and connection, and helps you to preserve your family’s memories in a way our ancestors simply didn’t have. It’s the gift that keeps on giving: you get your family’s stories not once but throughout the year, culminating in a keepsake book.

Every week, you’ll receive a weekly email story prompt — questions you’ve never thought to write about – and you will be encouraged to write down everything you can think of to answer that question. It’s so simple! Before you know it – you’ll have your very own memory book – something to pass down to the children. At the end of the year, you’ll get the stories bound in a beautiful hardcover book. Amazing!!!

How Does It Work?

So, let’s break down the process a bit further. In order to make your StoryWorth book, it will take about a year. 52 prompts worth of writing – totally manageable! There are around 600 prompts to choose from. You can leave that up to the team, customize the order yourself or actually go in and prompt your own questions. Love that! You can write your stories and upload photos by email, on their websites or by using the phone/tablet app. Lots of great ways to submit content.

Do you want your parents and grandparents to see what you are writing? That’s not an issue because you can invite an unlimited about of people to receive the stories! How fab is that!!

After you’ve made all your edits and are completely satisfied with the product, you can download a copy of all your stories at once (or anytime throughout the process).  Then look out for a package in the mail because you’ll receive a hardcover printed book (black and white up to 500 pages).  Audio recordings and transcription available at an additional cost.

Examples Of Questions You Might Receive:

  1. What famous or important people have you encountered in real life?
  2. How did you figure out how to be a parent?
  3. Do you have any particularly vivid memories of your grandparents?
  4. Who had the most positive influence on you as a child?
  5. Where were you when you found out that JFK had been assassinated? How did it affect you?

Holiday Special:

For the holidays, StoryWorth is discounting their price from the regular $79/year to $59/year. This is the perfect time to give this gift to someone you love. I’ve actually chosen to give this as a present to my mother. She was absolutely thrilled because it’s a way to truly connect with her grandchildren in a way that before was never possible.

What Are You Waiting For?

I love sitting down and listening to my grandmother tell me stories about the past and about my mother when she was younger. I wish I had something made from my mother in her own writing. This is such an amazing gift to give to your children. It’s a wonderful way for you to document your life and your family’s life for generations to come. This sounds like a really neat way to record family history. I am terrible at record keeping these kinds of things, so this may be good for me!

This is so cool. We lose a lot of stories when our family members pass away. This is a great way to keep those stories alive if something ever happens to you,

I am going to have to share this information with a family member who we consider to be the family historian. Its good to have a place to store the information and to get more.
