I mean… maybe we went overboard a little bit. I will be the first to admit it. I felt like I WAS GOING BACK TO SCHOOL and bought my daughter all the things I would have wanted to have in my locker on the first day of sixth grade. That girl is so damn spoiled, she doesn’t even know it. UGH. Why do I keep doing this to myself? I overindulge and then I have mom guilt over spending too much.
It’s too late. All the tags have been ripped off and my daughter is officially ready to roll. Her countdown is T-minus 10 days and everyone cannot wait for the the very first day of middle school. We have no idea how we are going to handle the new homework load, but our locker will certainly be organized!
