Tune In Tomorrow To The “Today Show: Kathie Lee And Hoda” To See Our Segment On Blogging Professionally

Earlier this week, Audrey McClelland and I filmed a segment for the Today Show – specifically the Kathie Lee and Hoda hour. Career expert Suzy Welch sat down with us for almost an hour and asked us a series of questions revolving around “blogging as a profession.” As you know, both Audrey and I are the sole providers for our families and use blogging and social media expertise to keep our houses afloat. When we aren’t writing, we are speaking at conferences, consulting for brands, or hosting live events for influencers. There isn’t a facet of this space that we don’t touch and it was a pleasure to shed some light on something we love with all our hearts and souls.

We would love for you to tune in! Kathie Lee and Hoda host the 4th hour of the Today Show. Set your DVRs today !! We are hoping to have digital video to share once it airs, but you never know. Rather be safe than sorry.

We touched on the following topics:

  • How We Started
  • Partnering Up
  • Hustling And Our Drive
  • Income
  • Insecurity In The Industry
  • Support In The Industry
  • Advice For Those Wanting To Start Blogging
  • Key Takeaways We’ve Learned Over The Years

The segment will be 4 minutes long, so I’m not sure how much they are going to get into it tomorrow. I’m so excited to see what makes the cut!

I just want to say a HUGE thanks to Suzy for choosing me and Audrey for this conversation. We all know that there has been some negative chatter targeting the blogging industry as of late. I feel really blessed to be a part of something that sheds some positivity instead. I have met such wonderful people, traveled to such exotic places, given my children once-in-a-lifetime experiences and truly grown to be a better person since starting my blog. For the last decade, it has been a wonder. If anything we said helps even one person kick off her new site, it would be everything!!
