Vroom Knows What A True Superhero Is #WhatMakesASuperhero

Vroom 3

New science tells us that our children’s first years are when they develop the foundation for all future learning. Every time we connect with them, it’s not just their eyes that light up—it’s their brains too. In these moments, half a million neurons fire at once, taking in all the things we say and do. We can’t see it happening, but it’s all there, all at work.

That’s why is here.

turns shared moments into brain building moments. Whether it’s mealtime, bathtime, or anytime in between, there are always ways to nurture our children’s growing minds.

Vroom was developed based on the premise that every child is born with enormous potential, and every parent can help them realize that potential. This is pretty much as important as it gets, really. The Vroom Superhero campaign is ah-maze-ing. It demonstrates the heroic role that every parent and caregiver plays in the lives of children, and reinforces the message that anyone can be a Vroom Superhero to a child.

Vroom 1

Vroom just released this fantastic new video yesterday that tells the story of an aunt-turned-foster-mother, Camellia, and her daughter, Cammie, showing us a powerful example of how the everyday moments they share have a profound impact on both of them.

It’s a wonderful video. It makes you feel hope and feel good about being a caregiver, be it a parent, grandparent, aunt, or whatever. You really, even if you don’t realize it, make a HUGE impact on a child just by being there, by taking a real interest, and by loving them. Doing what’s best for them and making sure they have the best chances in life as they possibly can is all anyone could offer…and it’s more than enough. It’s what all kids need. A chance and some love and attention. Everything else will take care of itself.

What do you think of Camellia’s and Cammie’s story, or any other caregiver superheroes you know? Share it with the world on Facebook, Twitter, or however you’d like! Make it know that through the everyday moments you spend with their children, superheroes and happy kids are made. Really think about how you can do the little things to be a superhero. Plant the seeds for your kids to really grow and develop. Build their minds every day. You can do it. You likely already do it. You may not know…but you are a superhero in the eyes of the child you take care of. Embrace it and revel in it…and do all you can to keep it going!

Vroom 2

Anyone can be a superhero to a child, and, thankfully Vroom makes it easier. It’s so great to see a company really looking to make the lives of kids better. It’s a topic and a goal that everyone, no matter where you come from or who you are, can stand behind and support.
See for yourself how Vroom can make you a superhero!

  1. Vroom sounds like a great company. I think it’s great that they’re promoting everyday interactive learning. Babies have little sponges for brains, and they can soak up a lot.

  2. What a great concept! I think it’s great the kids can look for superheroes and just about anybody and not just superheroes. I love you every day and reaction that you can promote with this.

  3. Vroom sounds so great! Anyone can be a superhero and kids always find the best people to be their super heroes!

  4. I always considered myself to be Wonder Woman because every day is full of wonder! haha. Wonder where the other sock is, wonder what to make for dinner, wonder if I will ever get any sleep! Seriously though, I think Vroom is great in helping child development.
