Lands’ End wants you to tell your mom just how much you care about her and enter for a chance to win BIG.
With Mother’s Day right around the corner (May 8th), I thought it was the perfect time for me to do a little note writing to my mother as well. As a parent to three children of my own, I know just how important it is when my kids tell me that they love me. Even the smallest note can leave the biggest impact.
Admit it, most of us don’t tell our moms how important she is as much as we should. But the truth is, she can never hear it enough. So, Lands’ End is giving you the chance to do just that.

Now onto my mom, Liz. There are so many reasons why I love my mom. First of all, she’s someone who is always up for a good time. Now that she has grandchildren, she will do anything to get them to laugh. Talk about having a young heart, mind and soul. I think that’s where I get it from… in fact I know it.
We were a family of all women until I had my two boys and she was the center of it all.
No matter what event I throw for my blog, she’s always there supporting me. It could be anywhere, anytime — even if it means she has to take a day off of work. It really means a lot to me to have my mom there for me through thick and thin. (And taking the campy pictures I need to my blog posts – like the above one. LOL)
And yes, that woman will even do the “not so easy” things that I ask – like indoor skydiving. EVEN IN HER mid-60s! Go Liz!!!!
She loves my kids just as she loved me as a child – hands on and with an open heart. Even with technology messing with our minds and allowing us to do face swaps other things that we just can’t unsee. Poor Liam.
Through and through – especially since becoming a mom – I appreciate my mother and all that she has done for me throughout the years. Every family is dealt a different hand of cards and we did the best we could with ours. That’s all you could ask out of a team. She continues to teach me lessons that help me to THIS DAY and I hope that I am as loving and caring to my future grandchildren in the years to come. We are blessed to have “Grandma Shoes” in our lives.
