Ending My Week Perfectly at Real Simple’s Annual Beauty & Balance Party

5

Friday is the perfect day for a bit of pampering and Real Simple delivered at their annual Beauty & Balance event. Sponsored by a host of top brands, Real Simple went out of their way to ensure everyone had the perfect end to their week. This party is quickly becoming one of my favorites for the year. Here’s why.

I admit that I neglect my brows. I admire those girls who have amazing brows but I never experiment with them because I’m afraid I would look like an Instagram post gone bad. Wink Brow Bar was there so I snagged the opportunity to get them done by professionals. I have never had threading done before and panicked a bit when I felt the snips of sharpness. She threaded my brows then filled them in. I loved it! I love full, natural brows and she did an amazing job.

Next, I got my makeup done by Laura Geller. Be prepared to be wawed by her Luscious Lips in Cherry Almond. It was the perfect lip for a day look and the color was perfect for my skin tone. What I love the most about Laura Geller makeup is that it feels super lightweight on your face. I felt like I wasn’t wearing anything.

Lastly, I got my curls refreshed by Dry Bar. They used a dry conditioner on my locks. Who knew that even existed? This dry conditioner smells like hairspray but gives your hair an instant boost without the crunchiness. It gave my curls some body and thickness. I’ve been using it all weekend and I love it. The staff at Dry Bar are also always super knowledgeable and make me feel so at ease. I would live there if I could.
