14 Days To A New You – Ultimate To-Do List To Help You Achieve A Stress Free Life
Time for another challenge! I took almost a month off because life got crazy and that – my friends – works right into today’s theme. Today’s challenge isn’t something you can’t check off. It’s not a TASK per say. It’s a state of mind and I want you to acknowledge it if you ever feel like you need to.
I want you to realize that it’s ok to check out once in a while – especially if you need it.
We live in a society of doers. Task seekers. Restless souls. Multi-dimensional, “gotta get it on social media as it’s happening because if I don’t then it really didn’t happen” kind of people. HECK – I’m one of them. If I have a day that has too many hours free… I end up building a new website!!

Look, I’m Type A…. PLUS. I’m a serial entrepreneur. I can’t stop my mind. I really can’t. I’ve toyed with getting on medication because of it. I know it’s not normal to have this much thought flow through one person’s system. So, I get having a need to be on the go. But even I break down from time and time and when I feel it – when my body tells my mind that she has HAD IT and that we’ve all reached the point of EMPTY – then nothing else matters.
It’s time to reset and heal.
I’m putting this on your plate.
Listen for those signs. Look out for the signals. When your body starts telling you she needs a break, then give it to her. And know that it’s ok.You might miss out on a few things – family functions, friend get togethers, even a day at work. But, if you can swing it, then swing it. Because you don’t want to hit the lowest low. It’s hard to get up from out of that. I’ve been there a few times. Believe me, I know.
