10 Endangered Animals That Know How To Love: Share A Valentine’s Day e-Card For A Chance To Win
10 Endangered Animals That Know How To Love | Share A Valentine’s Day e-Card For A Chance To Win
There so many things we can learn from the animal kingdom. In fact, watching documentaries about wildlife is one of my family’s favorite things to do after dinner. There’s something so pure and beautiful about watching a family of polar bears or tigers in their natural habitat. You can relate to the mother bear as she tends to her cub. In the end, I guess I enjoy these shows because I see just how similar we really all are when it comes to emotion and family. When you look at the animal kingdom, you will see that many species offer great examples of how to keep a relationship together.
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the animals that prove love is timeless and true. The Koala bear, the penguin, and the elephant are just a few that come to top of mind. I will never forget the moment I learned that the elephant is one of the only animals to mourn the loss of a family member. They actually have funerals – just like humans do. I was a teenager when I saw a segment about this topic and it literally shocked me. They love. They TRULY love. It’s not just about survival. It’s about love and loss and friendship as well. So powerful!
Unfortunately, these beautiful creatures are endangered due to the effects of climate change and as a result they’re populations are disappearing at an alarming rate. Protecting these species contributes to the well being of the planet and as a result, our well-being. We are all in this together! We can never forget that. It’s like a tipping scale – everyone has a place. If we lose too many pieces, the entire system will crumble.
Scientists predict that global warming could contribute to the mass extinction of wild animals in the near future. An overheating world is creating a big change in climatic conditions and this can harm the delicate ecosystems in which all species live. Solar energy is a renewable natural resource and is considered environmentally friendly because the sun is a natural energy source that does not require the burning of fossil fuels. What a great choice for our day and time!
How Much Does It Cost?
Going solar will of course help reduce the effect of climate change on our planet… and without breaking the bank. In many states, solar is available for $0 down. That means you can start saving each month on your heating bills TODAY with no initial start-up cost.
