Tis the Season for Giving Gifts that Give Back #KiehlsFeedsAmerica

It’s so crazy how during the holidays many of us seem to get so caught up in making lists, decorating our homes, catching store sales and planning/attending festive parties. Sometimes we forget and have to remind ourselves that this time of year is truly so special because it’s the season for giving. We often hear about the stories of struggle and strife in places overseas but I wonder how many people realize that there’s a major hunger problem going on right here in the U.S. and you might not know it but it may even be your next door neighbor or family member that needs help with a basic necessity like getting food on the table.

To celebrate Kiehl’s collaboration with 20th century artist Norman Rockwell for it’s 6th annual limited edition Creme de Corps collection for the holidays, guests and celebrities like Bevy Smith (T.V. personality), Philipp Bloch (actor, designer), Miss J. Alexander (America’s Next Top Model)  and Lea Delaria  (Orange is the New Black) were invited to the NYC flagship store for a bit of festive shopping that gives back. Products in the collection range in price from $11- $75 and 10% of all sales from the evening would go to support Feeding America.

After guests mingled, danced and enjoyed light bites,  Chris Salgardo, president of Kiehls USA and Abigail Rockwell, granddaughter of Norman Rockwell presented a check for $100,000 to Nancy Curby VP of corporate sponsorships, Feeding America, which was a wonderful gesture in the spirit of the season.
