With the rain that’s coming, I was recently thinking about buying raincoats and boots for the lils. When I think about rain, I always imagine my lils dancing around rain … stomping their feet in puddles … twirling with umbrellas. Then this warm feeling bottles up inside me … rain … puddles … happiness … thinking about my lils and the childhood they have ahead of them.
Then wah-lah – came Western Chief Kids. The week after I had this thought, the email came and we got the opportunity to review the adorable things in their catalog. Looking through the catalog was so fun and then there they were, the cute raincoats sets. My kids loved them too when they arrived.
How cute are these raincoats!? Spider-Man for lil man and Hello Kitty for lil lady. Lil man loves the pull down mask and lil lady loves Hello Kitty, but the little ruffles on the back are a lot of fun for her because well, she feels like a princess.
I like that the coats are thick and have an inner lining.
In the photo above, you can see the little buttons. The lils were able to button themselves up and take off the coats easily. On the outside, you can’t see the buttons on either jacket. Of course, they put on the cute buttons on the Hello Kitty coat and on the Spider-Man jacket they installed buttons the same color as the coat.
And here’s the inside of the boots. They have a slightly fuzzy lining so no rubber sides rubbing on their legs.
