Daily Diary: Like A CHILD Running To Get A Photo With Anna And Elsa #rockyourdisneyside #minetrain #newfantasyland
Day one of Disney’s Mine Train event was super fun! As if they would disappoint. The group was joking because when we gathered in the lobby to meet for our transportation to Epcot, we were right in the middle of a downpour. I took video and will upload it when I get home. I’m not kidding. It was like 10 little waterfalls were going off at the same time from the hotel roof. We all kept commenting about how we thought everything was going to get canceled. After all, we had a firework show planned. It’s not very likely that will all happen in the middle of that sort of weather.
But in true Disney form, the rain stopped as soon as the buses began to move. Our little group was cracking up! Only Disney can control the weather!!! LOL!!! 🙂
We were brought to a dinner party with live entertainment and lots of photo opps with our favorite characters. Now….
Understand what I am saying. I almost dropped my PLATE OF FOOD when I saw that Anna and Elsa were available for photos at last night’s press event for “Rock Your Disney Side“. Right on the floor. I GASPED, threw my hand over my mouth and began to shake Audrey uncontrollably.
WE HAVE TO GO TAKE A PICTURE FOR NATALIE. RIGHT NOW!!!! LIKE RIGHT NOW! BEFORE EATING. FORGET THE FOOD!!!
Audrey calmly reminded me that Elsa and Anna will be there all night long and to calm the HECK DOWN. I realized I was putting on a little show and got it together (on the outside). On the inside I was buzzing like 10,000 bees. It was my night mission. I had to do this for my little girl.
I silently sat as still as I could until she finished her plate and then jetted over to the other side of the room to claim my spot on the line. After 20 minutes or so, we had our chance. This is NOTHING compared to how long you would actually wait at the parks!!
I texted it to my kids immediately and they FLIPPED OUT as I knew they would!! Then Audrey went up and got a little treat for Natalie –>
AHHHHHH! Can you stand it?! Love it!!
Today, we have a full day planned at the Magic Kingdom including a ride on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! Woo hoo!!!
