Field Report: Timo Weiland Fall/Winter 2014 #NYFW #MBFW
Timo Weiland presented a fantastic collection of chic ready-to-wear women’s pieces that exude casual glam while being decidedly fashion forward The Timo Weiland collection perfectly walked the line to showcase girly pieces with a subtle sophisticate edge to give the effect a collection that was decidedly feminine and fun without making you look too twee or little girl. The collection included pieces like a striped tweed tuxedo coat, cozy knit sweaters, puffer coats with shearling hoods and leather sleeves and lots of fun mini skirts in dresses in interesting and flattering silhouettes.
The collection was a sea of blues and bold prints including everything from stripes, checks, plaids and oversized and irregular polka dots. Also featured were forrest greens and the occasional pop of wine paired with bold metallic leather pieces. Overall the collection was the picture of fresh, easygoing day wear for the fashion forward.
