Monique Lhuillier debuted her Fall 2014 Collection at the Theatre tent of Lincoln Center with bold, dramatic femininity, and a romantic dark side. Among the versatile line, waist belts on dresses paired with black lace booties were a harmonizing additive to the collection. Materials to be seen in the collection: lace, cashmere, leather detailing, and embroidered organza.

Asymmetrical lines were ever-present in the designer’s couture line, particularly among dresses, whether mermaid, ball gown, or A-line shape.

Illusion necklines also appear to make its way into the forecast for fall, along with kimono-style sleeves.

Spotted in the front row: Anna Kendrick and Emmy Rossum.
